Support Staff
The program trains young boys and girls as support staff in clinical (patient care) and non-clinical (maintenance, biomedical, material management, accounting and medical records) areas to provide comprehensive eye care to patients with dedication and compassion
The program will also focus on the overall personality development of the candidates by offering soft skills and English language training

Mode of training: Classroom teaching and practicals
Duration of the course: 6 months
Eligibility: 10th standard or Intermediate
Age/Gender: 18 – 23 years / Unmarried male / female
Commencement of the program: February and August
Mode of selection: Written test & Interview
Boarding & Lodging: Free shared bachelor’s accommodation will be provided.
Food is available at subsided rates.
Stipend: Rs 500 per month
Leave: 6 days during the training period, in addition to the Institute’s designated holidays
Evaluation: The trainee’s performance is monitored periodically
