Long Term Fellowship in Retina & Vitreous
The examination and treatment of vitreo-retinal diseases has attracted the attention of a host of scientists and physicians. Beginning with only the direct ophthalmoscope a few decades ago, today one has several devices to precisely examine the vitreous and retina. Several treatment modalities using lasers and surgery are now available to treat a variety of conditions. With new refinements in instruments, devices and surgical procedures taking place each year, there is a need to keep oneself constantly informed of the latest research in the theory and practice of retinal diseases.
